Mikrostruktursimulation von Zementstein

Abstract

For a better understanding of material phenomena, it is reasonable to take a deeper look into the microstructure of the material under consideration. In this contribution we focus on hardened cement paste with the goal to determine the effective material properties through simulations of the microstructure and numerical homogenization. Special attention is taken to the identification of material properties on the microscopic length scale. A client-server based system is introduced that distributes the calculations within a network environment, in order to keep the overall computing time within reasonable bounds.
