The German – French summer school offers interested young researchers and students the opportunity to learn and impart knowledge in the field of interface mechanics. Foremost European experts present recent trends on composite materials and contact mechanics within the scope of a multi-scale analysis. The numerical implementation of these algorithms requiring only low computational efforts is another focus of this summer school. All lectures will be given in English and a printed version of the presentations will be available for all participants. Additionally, within special scheduled breaks the participants have the option to discuss actual problems in the field of interface mechanics with the European experts.
